CAVALLUNA
is a hugely popular mixture of equestrian show and theatre. The big production – often playing 2-3 shows in some of the largest venues in Germany and abroad – has been touring for at least 8 years, with a new story and show emerging every year or so.
I was asked to design the latest show “Secret of Eternity”. Placed in a Mexican environment, it stars the typical villain, the fight between good and evil and
of course a lot of amazing horses performing alongside stunt people, actors and dancers.
The production has been using Zactrack for 4 years now, and we expanded it this year to 17 anchors and 53 trackers worn by actors, dancers and horses alike, using 60 Clay Paky Sharpy Wash as “Followspots”.
After the initial 2 weeks of programming and rehearsals in October 22 the show went on tour, which will take it through 34 cities in the next 8 month.
