75 Years KFW

KF 75

KFW –Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau – (“Credit Institute for Reconstruction”) is the world’s largest national development bank. It was formed in 1948 after World War II as part of the Marshall Plan.
2023 was its 75th “Birthday” and I had the honor to design the lighting for the party… Which was of course attended by the top political and financial brass of Germany. Interesting enough, the venue of choice was a not the plush setting one would expect for such a show, but the Kraftwerk in Berlin, a defunct power station with a “brutalist” environment.
Lighting he cavernous architecture was just as important as the show itself, which not only had the speeches and eulogies that were to be expected, but also show parts with artists both on the stage and behind gauze in the back wall of the stage.

Show concept and Lead Agency: insglück Berlin
Production: Neumann & Müller
